Chempaq has delivered a Chempaq XBC analyzer to University Miami’s field hospital in Haiti.

This hospital has the capacity to treat 250 patients, with 4 operating rooms.

The robust nature of the XBC coupled with the lack of "pampering" made this an ideal solution for the complex nature of the injuries suffered in the earthquake.

Many Haitians suffered injuries that exposed them to infection; in many cases went untreated for days and escalated rapidly. Additionally there is an Anemia problem associated with these injuries as well.

The XBC has provided quality stat results that has allowed for rapid treatment of the affected patients.
